Last football practice for this year

Today I decided to join a school club called tonys challenge.  I'm not really sure what this club is about but we eill bake today stuff for Halloween to sell anf we have to dress up for Halloween on Friday too.  In Pop culture we finished watching a movie called "It's a wonderful life " and I can just say, it's a wonderful movie. In lunch I played basketball in the gym, to practice for the try outs next week and I really hope I'll make it :) In the actual gymclass we went to a gym.  I don't really like it because I'm not the person,  who rides a bike, or walkes but in the emd it's just a machine (if you know what I mean).  But I think in general it's good that we do this because this was gymclass is not lopsided. After school I bought some halloween make up (fakeblood, Black pencil)  and I will probably make my halloween costume tommorow.  Then was today our last foitballpractice for this year.  We didn't even played outside.  We just met to talk about the Zombiethon on saturday (and I'm really exited about that) .

Today we had snow again, but this time the snow stayed till the afternoon.  This made me really happy,because we didnt had lots of snow last year.  And there are really lots ot people who ask me how much warmer /colder it is in Germany and if we have snow there.  Another question people like to ask is what I like about Canada. And the thing is I can't even tell.  I like a lot of things but nothing specific.  That's why I don't like this question.
Today in math we watched our quadratic formula video and it was a little bit embarrasing but still good :)
In gym we did the beep test (it's a running test)  and I made it to level 8.1 (but I could have done a better job.  But my teacher said my feet werent over the line, even if they were.)  But anyway I have another try in two weeks.

What happened on the weekend

Okay back to the english language.  On girl in the bus told me Friday , that there is a school dance at her school this day. Sadly I didn't signed in so I couldn't go there but hopefully I will next time.  Instead of that I went to youthgroup.  First I was not sure if I should go because of biblestudys but it wasn't that bad and after that we played murderball and Gronk (something with hidding items and stuff)  it was really fun  and I can't wait to go there again :). After that I've been eating lunch with my hostdad and ate the first time in my life a wrap.  It was actually pretty good but will never be as good as Türkische Pizza ;) Yesterday in the morning some water was already frozen so I could pretend beeing a ninja and destroy the ice (just that ninjas do this with wood instead of ice). Today we've went to church and it really snowed when we came out!  That's so crazy because it's still October.  But that's Canada :D.  I also had to cut the quadratic formulavideo for Math! (isnt that cool.  I guess we wouldnt have things like this in Germany)  anyway after overall 4/5 hours of work I'm finally done.  Well tommorow will start a new week and then it's already November.  Crazy how fast time goes by.

Heute gehts mal nicht um Schweinebabys ;)

Da ich heute genau 2 Monate hier bin, dachte ich, ich kann ja auch mal wieder auf deutsch schrieben.  Es is so krass, dass schon 2 ganze Monate um sind!!!  Heute war ein ganz normaler Schultag. In Pop culture gucken wir gerade Der Zauberer von Oz und im Success block wurde uns ein Vortrag über Cyber crime gehalten, der eigentlich sehr interessant war.  In Mathe hatten wir heute, wie die Faktoren A,K und H die Parabel beeinflussen.  Und da ich das ja alles achon letztes Jahr hatten,war ich da voll der Pro ;). Heute hab ich es auch endlich geschafft mein Buch (Insurgent, sehr gutes Buch)  zuende zu lesen und natürlich war das Ende voll spannend und der 3. Teil hat jemand anders ausgeliehen -.- Heute war ja auch eine halbe Sonnenfinsternis aber dank Wolken hat man natürlich nicht gesehen.  Schade eigentlich :/ Heute hatten wir auch wieder Football und ja es war nicht gerade Traumwetter.  Es war windig, kalt und regnerisch.  Deswegen (oder warum auch immer)  waren wir heute nur 10 beim Training.  Also waren 20% Mädchen vom Footballteam xD.  Also haben wir dann am Ende 5 gegen 5 gesoielt und da hab mich mich fast wie beim Flag gefühlt.  Nur ohne Flaggen,mit Ausrüstung,  älteren Teamkameraden und das ich verdammt nochmal in Kanada bin!!!!  Ja so war mein Tag.  umd an alle die mich vermissen "nur " noch 8 Monate (und an TFIOS Fans: wenn man die acht dreht, ergibt das ein Unendlichzeichen, also hab ich hier noch eine kleine Unendlichkeit)   Heute ist auch endlich ein Brief nit meinem Kleid und Rock angekommen.  Also kann ich jetzt etwas schicker in die Kirche gehen :)

Subway, Pigbabies and beautiful sky

I am so totally done with Subway first of all. I ate on Monday first time there. My sandwich was pretty good.  So I've went there today again.  I ordered a sandwich and the sandwichmaker lady ask me something and I didn't understand her und just said yes.  And in the end I had to pay 3$ more because I ordered extra bacon and cheese!  That's so mean.  And then they don't even gave me the right cookies.

I don't know if you heard about it,  but there were people in Ottawa shooting around.  That really shocked me because I thought Canada would be safe.  But no it's not.  Thank you therefor -.-  I  just hope that this was a one time thing!
Today was also a presentation about safe driving off the road and at least I know now how to use a Skitracker,  if someone should get lost.
And I found in our library a book about Nicolas Flamel.....     He was mentioned in Harry Potter and the philosopher stone.  Isnt that cool?    Well I think that's it for today (or the last days)  tommorow is a half suneclipse and I really hope there wont be clouds. Today a pig also got her babies and guess what?  They are cute :)

I'm really sorry that I didn't wrote the weekend but I not really used my phone this weekend and I was nearly the whole time outside. I think that's good because in Germany and anywhere else kids just sit infront of the TV but here they are still outside. On Saturday my hostdad bought some caves (I don't know if I wrote it right but this are male cows) and now they are "muhing" the whole time!  And my the way the name of my cave is now official Hans Jürgen Black (even if I think to give him another colour as name). Ww were also with the pigs and they ate still soooo cute ^.^ and slowly you can also touch them and they come to you. Feom pigs to food (by the way we gave some pigs names: Bacon, Jack Sparrow,  Harry Plopper, Spiderpig, Homer, Wilbur,  Schnitzel)
On the weekend I made Thüringer Bratwurst and  Poutine (thats Potatoslices, Gravy and lots of cheese) and tried to make Pudding but it burned so we couldn't eat it. I also made Buns (my friend is in food class and sometimes she gives me something what is really good.  And I liked the buns so she gave me the recipes) And my hostbrother made a Frappuchino or something like that and it's actually pretty good.  So I start liking Coffee but just kind of. (so how you can see the weekend was full of food ;))
Well and now it's Monday again and I enjoy the beautiful sunrise :)

PS: my hostsister and me made the laundry and she forget her clothes then I asked her "where would you be without me ... Not in the basement!! (there is the washing mashine)  I found that really funny.

PPPS: i forgot to say, that I had picture day on friday.  But this was somehow so stupid.  The women took two pictures of me and I couldn't even see them.  So Let's see how I will look like...

It's GAMEDAY :D

Today was a really cool day.  I told you about the Ducktape?  Well we all forget to bring it,but I'm sure, one day we will pay him back. In Pop culture we watched Laey and the Trump (Susi &Strolch)  and it's a really good movie.  Tonight we also had a Footballgame. It was really cool.  At the kickoff I was in and I catched the ball.  That made me really happy.  I also played some defence but sadly I couldn't tackle anyone.  Our team made two touchdowns but we lost anyway.  I guess 12-28.  But for me it was still a good game.  After that we all ate pizza, which was really good.  In the last time I'm nearly always hungry (i know I also was before but now its worse).  After the Footballgame I went to the churchyouthgroup.  (they had donuts and grapes ^.^) there the pastor talked about some funny stories and then we played some games.  One game was like Hide and seek just backwards.  And we played this in the dark and this was really really scary!  The people in the youth group are really nice and in the end we prayed.  So this youth group was more fun than like doing boring things :)
After that we get some supper and yeah now I'm totally full and happy because it was such a great day and a good decicion to play the footballgame and not go to Edmonton. And did I already mentioned that I will have soon a Football letherjacket and a hoodie and maybe a jersey.  How awesome is that?

First if all.  I decided to write this Blog from now in english. I'm really sorry for everyone who likes to read this, but isnt so good in English.  ( also an alle die kein englisch sprechen.  Der Blog wird jetzt auf englisch weitergehen,weil es für meine Sprache nicht gut ist,jeden Tag deutsch zu sprechen, lesen und zu schreiben ) I just think if I write German every day it don't helps me improving my language. And I know that when I read Blogs  I didn't like it either that they were English but this way you all can improve your English :D
Let's talk about my day.  Today there was a guy im school and he talked about  beeing yourself and all this stuff.  This was not bad, because when your an exchangestudent you sometimes ask yourself, what am I doing here and all these stuff.And this guy was a good motivation. It's in general cool that there are sometimes presentations at school.  One time we had a presentation about don't drink and drive.  Anyway. In math we are still filming our video and there was one guy from another group, who annoyed us.  And instead of annoying him back, our teacher! had a great idea to pay it him  back.  Let's see what we can do with ducktape tommorow ;) and for all the people who read this blog and go with DFSR next year.  The basketball team in High Prairie will probably go to Hawaii!  No I'm not kidding.  Last year they went to California. That's so cool.  By the way I will go to Ottawa in January :) and with school to Jasper in March and again in June.   That's soo cool :D

Falls ihr meinen gestrigen Post gelesen habt, würdet ihr jetzt ja eigentlich denken, ich fahr morgen nach Edmonton.  Aber da ich ja so ein Glückspilz bin, ist der Trip nicht Donnerstag sondern Freitag.  Und guess what?  Freitag ist auch ein Footballspiel  das wahrscheinlich letzte der Saison (und wer weiß, wann ich wieder Football spielen kann)  und nach langem überlegen hab ich mich dann für Football entschieden (ich werde dafür im Dezember mit der Schule zu ner Theateraufführung oder so nach Edmonton fahren)  und ich weiß nicht ob ichs schon erzählt habe,aber ich habe heute mein Rind bekommen :) jetzt brauch ich aber immer noch nen Namen :s

Mir fällt kein cooler Titel ein

Heute ging die Schule wieder los.  Es wae sogar fast noch dunkel als wir zum Bus gelaufen sind!  Ich weiß nicht, ob ich es schonmal erwähnt habe aber in der Schule gibt es WLAN und das ist einfach spitze :) Ansonsten war heute ein ganz normaler Schultag.  Ich hatte heute Footballtraining und wir durften insgesamt 4 Runden rennen (1 Meile) und bestimmt 20 mal 40Yard sprinten.  Uff...  am Donnerstag fährt meine schule nach Edmonton, um ein College oder so anzugucken und danach werden wir in die Kingmall gehen (oder wie die heißt).  Ich freu micuh schon voll und das beste ist,  der Trip ist umsonst :D (wahrscheinlich werde ich über den Tag ein Video machen)  also das war mein Tag, der jetzt nicht mega spektakulär war. Achso in Mathe machen wir ja gerade den Quadratische Formel song.  Und meine Gruppenpartner sind zwar nicht unmusikalisch aber setzten immer verspätet ein oder der Text passt nicht in den Rhythmus.  Oh man das kann einen der gerne einen super Song und nicht nur lala song will schon ziemlich aufregen! Und in Sport können wir unsere Handys anstöpseln um eben Musik zu hören.  Ich hatte heute so n paar Roadtrip Songs und da meine eine aus meiner Klasse ernsthaft, dass ihre Techno Mainstream Songs besser sind!  Da frag ich mich,warum man dann überhaupt noch Musik hört.  Naja trotzdem Beste Grüße aus Kanada

Schweinebabys und Austauschschülerbonus

Also Ich hatte heute keine Schule, weil immer noch Thanksgivingwochenende war. Heute vormittag hab ich ein neues Video auf YouTube hochgeladen und dann am Nachmittag hab ich doch tatsächlich Gartenarbeit gemacht. Meine Hostmum und ich haben Kartoffeln ausgebuddelt und dann hab ich mit ner Maschine den Garten umgegraben :) Außerdem haben die Schweine hier gerade Babys bekommen.  Die sind sooo süß ^.^
Heute nachmittag sind wir in die Stadt gefahren um Holzkleber zu kaufen (damit der Boden in meinem Zimmer endlich gemacht werden kann) .  Dann hat mich ein Mitarbeiter angesprochen und am Ende haben wir uns über Ahornsirup und anderew kanadisches Essen unterhalten und dass ich hier noch kein Ahornsirup gegessen habe.  Dann hat er mir spontan so nen Ahornsirupriegel gekauft!  Voll nett.  Und der Riegel war auch ganz lecker :) abends gabs dann wieder Schnitzel und ich schwöre ich hab mich kurzzeitig wie in Deutschland gefühlt weil wir einfach alles auf dem Tisch auch in Deutschland haben :) das war so ziemlich mein Tag und dann hoffentlich bis morgen :)

Thanksgiving mal anders :)

Also zur Zeit ist ja hier Thanksgiving.  Warum ich keinen genauen Tag nenne?  Weil hier manche Samstag das "große Mahl "haben manche Sonntag und im Kalender steht ja eigentlich Montag.  Schon verwirrend.   Der Tag fing (wie jeder Sonntag)  mit der Kirche an (die zum Glück um 11.00 ist also kann ich ausschlafen :D) dort war an der Tafel geschrieben "What are you thankful for? " Also ich bin hier sehr dankbar für meine Gastfamilie dass sie mich überhaupt aufnimmt und auch dankbar für meine Eltern dass sie mir das hier alles überhaupt ermöglicht haben und  allgemein für das Jahr.  Das ich dass hier machen kann. Ich lerne und erlebe hier so viele Dinge, von denen ich nie gedacht hab dass ich sowas je machen könnte (z.B Tacklefootball spielen,  Rinderbabys füttern,  Euphoneum spielen)  naja wenn ihr wollt könnt ihr ja auchmal darüber nachdenken, worüber ihr dankbar seid :)
Normalerweise gibt es ja Truthahn zum Thanksgiving so wie das jeder halt kennt.  Da wir an diesem Wochenende aber nur zu dritt waren haben wir beschlossen Schnitzel anstatt Truthahn zu machen.  Es war ein Riesen Berg an Schnitzel und  war echt lecker ^.^ als Nachspeise gabs dann noch Black forest cake (Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte. )  Also mal ein ganz anderes Thanksgivingdinner.

Ich glaube ich habs noch nicht erwähnt aber Schule macht hier einfach viel mehr Spaß.  In Mathe zum Beispiel müssen wir gerade einen Song parodieren zum Thema Quadratische Funktionen.  Hier der Beitrag von meiner Gruppe :)

Mein erstes Footballspiel

Also ich weiß nicht ob ichs einhalten werde aber ich probiere jetzt öfters zu bloggen (so fast täglich)  Sophias Blog (www.huhngoescanada.blogspot.com) hat mich dazu motiviert :)
Also wie gesagt heute hatte ich mein aller erstes Tacklefootballspiel.  Ich war soo aufgeregt davor.  Wir haben gegen ein Team von Grande Prairie gespielt und 0:24 verloren.  Waren aber echt ein paar mal kurz vor einem Touchdown!!!  Jedenfalls ist unser Footballteam echt cool und   bald haben wir auch alle Hoddies und Lederjacken.  
Ich hoffe wir haben diese Saison noch ein Spiel den dass hat echt Spaß gemacht (und ich wurde nicht verletzt)  :D
